Small update

Since I will be using my other fiesta (Si) from next week on and the xr2i will be off the road I have decided to convert it to a turbo. I have most of the parts ordered already.

Im going for standard T2 running OFAC loom

OFAC Loom in good nick although had to fix one of the connectors
Next on my list...
ECU and sensors
Water and oil pipes
Radiator
Intercooler
Boost hoses
T2 turbo, manifold, down pipe and exhaust system
Engine will be the last thing I get

Si is having headgasket done hope to get it back soon as been without it for 2 weeks

On a more positive note finally found a rs turbo engine for my 2i will get pics when it arrives

Came with turbo, missing alternator and starter thats about it. although the downpipe was squashed so needs replacing

You going to give the bay a little clean before you put the engine in! i wish i did mine before the engine was in...its to fiddly otherwise!

you can see all one side dirty and one brand new bottom arm in that pic :lol:

Its all clean now :lol: , old bottom arm get bent after hitting a concrete block in a car park, I've been using the Si as my daily drive. I have something planned for the Si and gonna start getting bits for it after finishing this one
