was just on my way home crawling over speed bumps and there was a creaking sound when i was using the clutch then BANG it goes to the floor :doh: :doh:

just been to the motor factors and got a new cable, its deffinetly the cable as i pulled one end straight out


now then any tips as its gonna be bloody fiddly, especially in the dark :squint:

old one is off and new one is part on just need to get it through the bulkhead and on the pedal

so i need to reset the ratches or something :?




mk2 fiesta haynes manual looks pretty much the same so just the fidly stuff todo now

First time i fitted one it was a nightmare.Next time i did it,it didnt take much time at all.Quite an easy job.Getting it onto the pedal can be annoying though.

just getting it through the bulkhead was doing my head in as my arm was just long enough to have the exhaust guard wedged on my funny bone :|

yeah cheers managed to jack it up with the scissor jack and sit the drivers sider wheel on a bit of wood then jack it up again and add more wood untill i had enough room to get under

bloody jack is down the field with my other car
