well i have found this morning that my rev counter does not work anymore

any1 have any idea what could be wrong i have check the haynes manual and it does not anything in there!

my reverse light does not work, the bulb is fine i was told its the sensor!

and my oil warning light does not work i am hoping its the bulb!

shacky steerin when i brake, read somewhere it could bw warped brake disks

can any1 shed any light on how to tackle these probs

need 4 new tyres too

oh and abit of rust in the boot area!

Rev counter: check the simple things first, take off the clocks and make sure the line hasnt come loose or twisted.

Juddering when braking: sounds like the dics mate. I had the same, changed the discs and pads and all is good

Reverse light: if the bulb is ok, check your wiring. Otherwise, dont ask me about the sensor as I havent got a clue

Rev counter just stopped working? Could be a wire not working been as you're saying that the oil light isntworking either, a few wires on the multiplug could have worked loose. If you've got a mate with a Fiesta, ask nicely if you can rob his clocks and try them. Then you'll know if its a fault with the clocks/lights or the wiring.

Shaking through the steering will most likely be warped disks. Replace the pads with the disks and dont be a tight ass or else they'll just warp again. BED THEM IN No hairing around for a few hundred miles or you'll glaze the pads.

Rust? Bah, I don't do rust.
