they are used to raise the back of the bonnet (windscreen end) up to allow better cooling to the engine. the air is cooler under that part of the bonnet. but im sure someone else can explain that better then me

I ent got any on mine mate, was just debating whether or not to put them on, i wasn't too fond of them on my mates Zetec S, it looked like someone had try to pry the bonnet open, spose they would look more or less the same on mine. Lol

I have them on the pickup. Made with some spare inch box section steel I had left over from building the pickup, simple.

Ive had 5 comments since having them on the car, but TBH not fussed over that; they do the job at keeping it a tad cooler, and the they suit to pickup :)
