Small update

well today was a pretty much perfect day to get out and do a spot of cleaning and a small mod if you'll call it that

cant wait for santa o bring me my new cleaning gear

here my small mod for today, i removed the front splitter as it was catching on way to many bumps on my way to work and general parking etc.

have to say it looks a bit odd not having the splitter on, but needs must

i could have but not at the risk of ripping my bumper off, plus i'm wanting a more standard look

I love it either way, standard looks awesome; and with splitter looks awesome

But if its catching then its one of them things thats gotta go before it causes more damage

My exhaust got stuck on my mates drive the otherday and we had to list the car up to get off

i was a bit on the fence with the splitter, it made it look alot more aggressive

but the more i look at standard examples the more it makes me want to see what mine will look like

*Update*

well not really an update but i'm going to post up my RR graph and another pic

this weekend started off ok, i went to collect a part for mattyboy so took a detour via the M4

was stuck in traffic from Jct10 on the M25 to Jct 12 on the M4, start stop near on the hole way.....2hrs 30mins later i arrive at my destination to collect said part off a guy who'd been waiting since 5pm for me as that what time i thought i'd arrive, but i arrived at about 6.30pm

leaving the collection point my clutch rachet starts to click, but then goes away so i thought ah all is well,continued on my journey to sunny gloucester

becks and i went to get fuel on saturday night and all was well..happy day's

we got up at 5.3am on sunday, got ready and we were even 10 mins early

things were going well warmed the car up, then gentley set off, got about 300-400 yards from becks' house then " clang ", clutch pedal was flat to the floor




out i got, called mattyboy and RS BAZ to let them know the situ and that i might not make it, called the RAC was told a 57min wait

RS BAZ kindly welcomed me to RS ownership

RAC man arrives early...happy day's , its not about 7.20ish he sets about his work, becks' heads back to her house to let her parents know and collect her phone, while the RAC guy made comments about me having a good charm and massive knob! , as he said becks was pretty understanding to be up at 6.30am for a trip for cars

i didn't disagree with said comment

good jolly fellow he was, banter was going around, said he'd not been out to a cossie "breakdown" as such in 3yrs , he then made me a homemade clutch cable and we were then off and on the road after 8ish

made it to street racer, after getting lost twice, we had no sat nav and directions were shit and to top it off i was directed into liecester city centre because roads were closed off because of a marathon , so i'm stuck in traffic with constant read lights and a knacked/temp fix clutch cable good times!

we arrived at near on 12pm, watched a run, then set up the cam

then i had my run



i was pretty happy with the run and gordon said it was making good power for the amount of boost, gives me something to work with

he said if it was remaped with a smidge more boost it would go like a rocket! its fooking quick now as it is!

Glad it made it and ran though, i take it you are replacing the clutch cable

and he was just beig nice to yoo with that comment

i love it though

i have a literally brand new cable ready to go on , he did well with what little bits he had on him and its still going now

got me too street racer> back to becks'> then back to mine

i just laughed at his comment

nice power its getting glad the rac managed to get you back on your way to get to the rr wish my brakedown person would have done a temp fix instead of putting me on a pole on the back of his van(i was s**tting it ) good work tho!
