Ok i need all your help and advice here.

Ive come into a large amount of big toys this month and now i don't know which option to go down.

Main things i need to take into consideration is reliability, cost and of course power

So basically sitting in my lounge at the moment i have a set of throttle bodies with manifold n cossie injectors.

But i also have a T2 on manifold sitting in my kitchen

o and the really hard decision i have...i have an RS Turbo'd cab on my drive with a mint little engine and stage 3 turbo

What route would you all go down

-Engine conversion to RS turbo lump, wiring loom etc into my car.
-throttle bodies
-or zetec turbo using bits from the cab, if i went down this route i would use a de-compression plate tho for sake of cost which would restrict me to 10psi approx! but its still a 2ltr turbo then :D and could i use fiesta rs ecu on this?

Engine conversion to RS turbo lump, wiring loom etc into my car - If i did go down this route would i need to do anything with my fuel tank etc :S basically what else would i need apart from the lump auxiliaries with, loom and ecu...is there much more to it?

you not fitted your bodies yet then?

hmmm.. its a pretty hard choise you have now!

imo i think your going to get better gains from turbo power!

why not sell the bodies on and... drop the rst engine, loom etc into your fez, then take the 2.0 out de-comp plate it while its out or source C20LET pistons, have it modded with a breather port(s) oil return in the sump etc.(over a few months etc.) then drop it back in that way your going to have all the loom etc in place already

plus you'll have boost and chatter

i'm not biased here at all :hmm:

iirc the fuel tank is fine, but might be worth sourcing a ecos fuel pump as thats that the frst uses when it gets its stage 2 195 conversion

the pump just drops in :D

the frst ecu is that what your've got? that'll work, you could run beige injectors and a 195 chip etc for the mo, but ian howell does a chip for the frst mamagement for a ZT

OFAB is the better/best one to use( i have a whole loom and ecu for sale :hsugh: )

other than the usual boost/water hoses etc maybe an uprated clutch and gearbox thats pretty much it i think, sure someone (matt) will help me add what i've forgotten or correct me on what i have wrong

but.... on the other hand TB's are a pretty reliable way to get a fair chunk of power! really tough choice you have, since you have all those toy'd staring at you begging to be fitted!

why not a TB'd Turbo car  :halo:

Dan - One of the boys i know has lost his license so 3 of us bought it off him between us and its sitting there on my drive at the moment :D its got a stage 3 turbo, stage 2 head, cam'd and lots of other little toys on it!

and no sorry buddy ive made my mind up now im going zetec turbo :) so my mate is having the head, im robbing the turbo and all boost piping, t peace etc down pipe. im making a list over next few days of stuff i need to do it

Terry - cheers for the advice bud helped me make up my mind no end.lol throttle bodies and manifold are just sitting in my kitchen now...prob ebay them now.lol i want Turbo power especially after driving this cab :O buggering hell it moves! and that chatter and spooling  its addictive...i want more...i need more :P i was well shocked...was spinning in third :O

i have a spare 1.6 zetec sump in the garden so im going to have an oil return welded onto that...and im picking up what was going to be my spare 2ltr zetec which will now be rebuilt so i can carry on using my car in the mean time!

ill source a cossie one later down the line! got alot of work before i get to the stage of dumping it in...im going to be bone dry of cash for a while now  the results will be worth it tho :)

its an MFI engine so i guess not...i need the ECU n loom from a fiesta RS im guessing then...that the best option? do me a favor please mate could you e-mail me some details of this and send me a price ;)

got all the boost hoses etc and i already have a Black Diamond Fast Road Clutch on my car now :)

ill try stick with diesel box for now...but i got a feeling traction will be a serious problem.lol

to be honest its heaven going home at the moment...buts its so confusing choosing one...however i think im now addicted :insanity:
