Alright guys I'm after an aftermarket back box and air filter for my 1.6Si. Don't take me for someone who is inexperienced in these matters as I'm far from it :lol:

I'd just like to hear your opinions on different items and would really like to see pics of the fitted items. :thumbsup:

K&N induction kits please as fitted to 1.6si's are something i would like to see as they are my preference.

Different styles of back boxes please as I'm undecided on what I'd like to go for,Stainless obviously.

Thanks in advance and any pictures/opinions much appreciated.

I know all the pro's and cons about induction/panal filters. Thanks for the link though

Just interested to see which out of all the different types of kits I prefer based on how they are designed.If i see pics I'd get a good idea about which one I'll buy soon for my project.

id go for a k & n filter it will free up the engine a little but not much as for exhaust has to be mongoose sound the nuts

When it comes to exhausts its hit or miss if you get the sound you want lol Its either way too loud or way too quiet.I want one thats only loud when i floor it.Such things are often hard to find.

iirc jd has a magnex on his and its quiet around town and pottering but comes to life when you nail it

mine's quieter than the standard exhaust unless you give it some
