just wondering it anyone would be interested in going on a bit of a road trip across europe to the nurburgring next summer sometime, possibly july august time. i was looking on going witha few mates but would be cool if we colud get a nice big group of cars.

you're welcome to have a go at organising it, but if i were you I'd look at taking 4, maybe 5 cars at the most. You don't have a chance in hell of getting a large group going. no one here can commit to driving across England, let alone all the way to the ring!

ah well worth a shot. and btw any car would be a shout at the nurburgring, one of the cars in the convoy im already going with is 505 estate, its a 2.3 diesel and he has every intention of killing it there and he hates it. he loved the look but says its shit, and he wants to kill it in a really random way. hes is quite strange tho.

It will have to be done at some point for me, but i'd rather rack up a few track days first so I know I can really blast it, as it's a long course and without going on track a few times first, I wouldn't be used to thraping it to the extreme for such an extended time.

i might go yearly, im currently looking at joining the royal engineers so booking this is going to be arkward. me and my mates original plan was to just sleep in a tent and spend the money on petrol and beer.
but i would like to make it a yearly trip.

I'll be going next summer (09), in whichever car I have at the time,

Ive been to le mans the past few years so I'm going to give that a miss and go to the ring this year,

I'll be going with a few friends, but I doubt a FSI trip would ever happen to be honest mate.

When me and my mates get some dates I'll give you a dhout if you like so there could be
some more numbers.
