I say this after me and rob had to take the complete loom out the cabby as someone wanted it for Â£30

Never again, i swear

What a pain in the arse. Its all one loom that goes through the fuse box, and as said is one piece from the front headlights to the rear lights :rolleyes:

Especially as it got dark about half way through, :lol:

, but how ford made some of the connectors fit through the allocated gaps i'll never know!

Good luck to the bloke whos going to fit it in another car!

Rusty nuts and bolts galore!

I'm currently sorting out Sams Escort, and apart from grinding away rust and welding new plates on, I'm changing all the brake pipes from the servo. Not that hard a job granted, but the rear offside brake pipe needed the petrol tank removing!! I mean seriously, wtf??!! Who the hell thought to run that above the petrol tank?? Knobbers.

I was cursing, as was rob, a few times on the amount of earths on the wiring loom :lol:

It's all good though, at least I can get some underseal on the petrol tank while it's off :lol:

swapping the head while doing the waterpump and cambelt aswell... in a weekend.
would'nt have been so bad if it wasn't for the fact i'd been supplied the wrong cambelt kit.
removing the inlet is fun fun fun

Anything that involves getting under the car. Once you've used a ramp or a pit a few times you realise how easy a job is when you're not on your back.
