i agree the rear end of the megane is terrible, iv always thought the front looks really nice tho :? lol. but as we all say all to there own. people suit different cars and people want different things from a car so its what you think best suits you and your budget ;)

I like the Megane backend, as it's a Megane styling quirk which people will treat like Marmite. The ultimately forgettable Vauxhall rear end however, is a Focus lookalike. :doh: I mean...

Look different to me :hsugh: :lol: Different Lights of different sizes at different heights, different shape exhaust and bumpers and one has 2 exhausts, looks completely different, or is it me?

I agree think megane is a marmite thing and i hate marmite :insanity:

sorry the megane doesn't do it for me looks wise (nor does the vxr or st for that matter)

i can appreciate the r26 must be a weapon though

I was taken out in a FST last wednesday at college and was pleasantly surprised!

Matt, i think everyone of those cars is £310 tax a year in 2010 rate

Guys what would you buy if its your money?

should be as cheap to run as my fiesta (which without mods so far has been just fuel at average 38mpg)

no less than 30 mpg

as matt said, tax, and service no more than £1k to insure

Personally id go Clio for out of the box performance, but it wont be as easy to get more power from, when you come to want more, so really its between the astra, focus and the megane.

If you've got your heart set on getting one, get one, its your money at the end of the day and we have no say! :)

What about a FRS, personally thats about the only Ford id ever own again! :thumbsup:
