What was your first car?

And how many have you had since then?

My first car i learnt in on an industrial estate was a 1992 ford fiesta 1.3 flight

but that failed its mot, and since then i have had

1: 1989 1.4 cvh mk3 Fiesta
2: 1994 1.1 Fiesta
3: 1994 1.3 Si Rep Fiesta
4: 1995 Fiesta 1.6 si (kanckered body)
5: 1995 Fiesta 1.6 si (knackered engine combined with above)
6: 1998 Laguna 1.6 RT (for 2 weeks lol)
7: 1995 Peugoet 306 DTurbo
8:1998 Punto 60s 1.2
9: 1992 Escort RS 2000 (for bits but owned it and drove it to a failed mot lol)
10: 1990 Escort Xr3i Cabriolet 1.6
11: 1996 Escort 1.8 Si
12: 1987 Escort Xr3i 1.6

So thats 13 cars and i'm 20 :lol:

Although i still have the Rallye as well!

Fiesta Si 1.6 (black, and was MINT, but someone pulled out in front of me and writ it off)
Fiesta Si 1.6 (the infamous blue one!)
Pulsar GTi-R (I bided my time to get the cheap insruance)

So 4 cars in my driving career, I'm not one to buy and sell - I make sure I buy the car I actually want and keep it for as long as I see fit.

i haven't wanted to buy and sell :frown:

The 1.1 was a stand in when i had an unscheduled meeting with a kerb in the si rep, the 2 si's were basically combined but then my insurance wanted Â£2k so i was like :iagree:

no thanks!

The laguna was my "sensible" car, which my mum decided she wanted, so my dad brought it back off me :lol:

and i got my fiesta back

i got rid of the cabby for insurance cost reasons (then a week later got a 3 year no claim bonus :rolleyes:

)

The si was all fine and dandy, but my mums car broke so i gave it to her

and brought the 2nd xr3i, which i plan to keep

, was pretty nippy. First Fiesta was a mk2 1.4 Sport in white with pepper pots. Id love to own one now if only I could find one!

1.1. fiesta popular (with 4 gears might i add) rust bucket.
1.4 Fiesta zetec mk4. great car. for a grandma.
2.0 306 GTi-6 - Awesome and ultra reliable car. I couldn't find a better car for under 2k even now..
1.4 106 XSi - amazingly underestimated and reliable rev rocket with 45mpg. shame it's old, small and noisy.

I took nearly a year to decide on the 306. And if money were no problem I'd still have it now, what a beast!.

in my 20yrs of driving ive had

Mk3 1.1 Escort (fitted xr3i interior wheels etc.. and only Â£150 fpft to insure)
S1 Escort RST (god i miss it)
K reg Ford Orion 1.6 (total shite :lol:

)
L reg 5 Door Ford Escort (same as above really)

then since 1996 the Si i have now (must be time for a change soon surely)
