yes, i changed my back ligh on the dash so its red. what i did was cut the peice of white plastic of the top of the instrument cluster that houses the dash lights, the removed the green filter and found a suitable piece of clear plastic, that i sprayed red with light tinting spray, to replace the filter and then i just glued it back together, works really well, iv been trying to take a picture but camera work pick up the light. hope this helps

I did something similar, left out the filter and replaced the two bulbs with with blue leds from Maplin, looked even better when I changed the dials to the white lockwoods.

yeah i did with mine, i compleatly got rid of the front light illumination and made them back lit with white lights ;) took alot of time to get it right but basicly i just fitted 4 white bulbs in behind the clock, 1 on the rev counter, 2 on the speedo and 1 on the fuel and temp and then wired them into the light behind the heater control 8-) works really well and i also removed all the green filters from the swiches and clock in the centre consol so they all light up with white light :)

its not that hard to do, just take the cluster apart so you can get behind the dials, and use sidelight bulbs behind them ;) and then just sire them all into a junction box then wire a lead into somewhere which gets power when you swich the lights on, not the clock tho as its always on and confuses you at night because as soon as you swich the car on the speedo light up and you think the lights are on :lol: did that the first time :doh:

how do you get the filters out of the switches , clock and the heater panel. i want to put them into red aswell as its nicer to drive at night i have found with the red lights.
