Hi all, trying to figure out how to remove the door lock barrels, there seems to be a circular thing holding them in, but I can't figure out how to get it off and release the barrel?

twist it to the right

See the slots in the circle bit? they have a little tab of metal poking out at the ends, you need to twist it so these move to the other end of the slot

Get a big pair of pliers as itll be pretty stiff, just grab the right hand edge and yank it downwards as hard as you can

EDIT: SORRY YANK IT LEFT LOL, either push the right side up, or yank the left side down

Thats the way I look at it: If in doubt, get the angle grinder on the go!

If in doubt, grind it out! If that don't work, hit it with a hammer. If THAT don't work, hit it with a BIGGER hammer. If that don't work you need a new one because you have ruined it.
