Oh and the ferry cost at the mo is about 120 quid for 4 people from Dover to Callais and it takes about 90 minutes. According to my source (Fi) lol.

as for holidays, my rents are going to malta for 10days i think, for £250each, including flights and accom! in like 2 weeks( out of school hol's, i know this means that we wouldnt be driving there but far cheaper than driving to france and a well nice place to go.

not saying we should do this, but its somethign to think about.

Problems with flying:

1) Your hearded around a hot airport like sheep, packed like sardines. Have to wait around for luggage etc, and betime you get home, your about ready for another holiday

2) Can take less luggage

3) When you get to your detination, unless its in the middle of town (cetainly don't appeal to myself) how you gunna get around, to get to the beach/carry your shopping etc etc....hire car/taxi?? £Cha Ching£!!

4) Far more fun, and you can go at your own pace, see the sites

here is a plan. I will drive, the rest of you can fly, then use my car when out there

that way, when you lot are stuck on a plane, with no leg room breathing in each other farts, i will be driving some of the best roads in europe with the aircon on, listening to what ever music i like. stopping for a walk when ever i like


some people would rather fly yes, i wont deniy in certain situations it can be cheaper. but, i love driving, and will intend to maybe drive home through the alps and make use of taking a car

Plus, having flown and driven to south of France on many an occation, I can make it cheaper to drive.......hense the need to avoid everyone taking their own motor though

Its the caravan... infact its a static, so its pretty large
