Right ok, i haven't updated this is a while but there have been a few big changes to my fez...she's been off the road most of this month! with under bonnet transplants and changes happening :hmm: :P

my friend decided i need to name this project so he named it "Project Rip Snorting Tarmac Terrorist!" :lolz: i think it sounds evil.lol the deadline for this project is 27th of November which means i must have her up and running properly by then.lol :S

Until this date i will not have any photos to post but do have lots of progress shots i will show you on the 27th

For example at this point we are at 169bhp but we are HOPING once tuned on Rollers to be just shy of 200bhp  as it is running VERY rich  bout 13 - 20 miles to £10 literally but then again fuel is being pushed through at a happy rate of 62psi :D

Before anyone says not its not my throttle bodies or turbo! Turbo sold and Throttle bodies will be up for sale very soon!

There have been a few changes on the body front as well, arches and sides now, interior is back in and its a small amount lower on the back now to level her out more!

o and im picking up the exhaust of Des's old exhaust hoping it will make my car a little quieter.lol My car is slightly to loud to be honest..in fact its unreal!

SO THE BIG SECRET WAS CARBS!!! big BIG CARBS!!!! i had a full carb set up on my car with manifold and management all running happily with a manuel choke...working lovely up to a certain point! i do have pics to show you all before my weekend of hell.

so i took her for another test run on Friday and the choke stuck on the fourth cylinder which meant is was heavily over fuelling which after warming up caused me a major build up on petrol in the manifold on that chamber which in turn decided to ignite and blow the carb out...which in turn decided to melt that fuel intake pipe and the joining hoses, the carb dropped and the fuel lapped out of the floats as it was at a stupid angle dangling not good at all! sadly becuase of this the fire spread as well behind the engine which now means i have a lot of burnt wires and sensors on the back of the engine!...o and a black bulk head!!!

So ive spent most of the weekend rebuilding loom and replacing sensors off the spare engine but the carbs are now toast at the moment! Now for the annoying part...i decided to pull the other fuel line out of the way before that ignited as well but the fuel coming out of that pipe ignited and flicked which caused me to go up as well...when i say me! i say my arm, jacket, cheek & eye lid! Jacket is now officially ruined!.lol i actually only got her running at 2.10 this morning :(

i have very slight burn on my arm...and no hair on it at all.lol but my cheek and eye lid are burnt not badly but still burnt and red...and some blisters! Hospital said it would be ok and leave no scaring which im very glad to hear...just hurts like hell.lol and my hair on the same side is a lot shorter that the other side now.lol

Over all i would say im VERY lucky my car isn't that bad and my face wont scar.

I do have a running problem now after put loom in and sensors please check technical section and please provide some advise if possible :)

ill delve into the amount of sensors changed later on with some pics of damage and the insane toy before the damage! :'( it sounded so sexy.lol

Im glad i picked up that fire extinguisher earlier in the week

sorry for delay on all pics up to now internet at home is off so rely on getting time in work to upload!

Also got to thank my house mate Paul  while i concentrated on putting my face out and taking my jacket off he put my engine bay out...if he didn't i think the damage would have been a lot worse...very close call but im happy she will fight for another day after getting her running...and i will heal  just wish my car would heal itself...alot of my stress gone
