Do you think the Si will be a classic in the years to come? I suspose the 2i and RS will almost certainly become classics soon, I have my 2i 8v on classic insurance but its not listed as a classic in Practical Classic's.

imo i personally dont think the Si will become a classice as its over shadowed by the 2i and frst :cry:

they can be made into great cars though, with money spent in the right area's etc

The MK3 in general will become a classic. As the MK1/2 is now.

With the better models meaning more money, RST/RS1800/XR2i Zetec/XR2i/Si and not forgetting the rare S sport cvh tapper thing.

Although the only one I would keep standard would be an RS Turbo.. I would have kept my RS1800 standard and perfect but I have reasons not to.

it may do 1 day, but its a long time off, the arses from the retro car club dont even think my 2i is retro let alone classic, i mean what makes a car classic or retro???????
i once had a vovlo 740 estate and it was insured on a classic car policy (just because it was cheaper) :lol: :lol: :lol:

a 91 renault 21turbo is retro but a 90 2i isnt???????
an austin ellegro is classic WHY??????? its 1 of the worst cars ever made.
its odd how things are worked out, yes the si is in the shadows of the rs and xr models but if an ellegro can be a classic an si can.
