well, :lol:

last night i was on a random drive with a mate, and we were going through fleet high street. The police were in front of me by a bit, and obviously, my car was making noise as it was reverberating of the buildings. At the end there is a set of lights with a lane for left and a lane for straight over/right.

the police were in the latter, and as i came rolling up behind them and the light was green they were still waiting, so i was like here we go :lol:

i carried on, turned left as usual, and lo and behold, the police suddenly decided to not go straigh on but turn left :lol:

so i was like :rolleyes:

stuck to 29mph :hsugh: and they followed me for a good mile, obviously thinking of a reason to pull me over, but there isn't one, the car is all legal, insured taxed and tested, new tyres etc, and i think he realised it, so he put his lights and sirens on, so i pulled over, he just overtook me and carried on as usual :rolleyes: :lol:

ah at least i didnt get pulled over, and i thought it was funny :lol:

they must do it for a laugh sometimes, so scare you if they know they cant really pull you

i remember when my fez was going for its first MOT in my ownership, i was having the sills and rear arches done, i had my rear seats stipped out

on the way to the workshop where the work was going to be done i thought it was great my si felt like a rocket :lolz: , then realised i had forgotten my locking wheel nut key :doh: so had to go home and get it :lol:

on the way back to the workshop i wasn't going as fast this time, but having no rear view mirror i couldn't see behind me :look: :red: , but looked in my wing mirror and caught a glipse of some green and blue....it was the police :lolz:

they followed me like you for about a mile, while i did about 55-60( on a dual carriage way), i shat myself :red: , luckily they left me alone and i carried on my merry way :D

and yeah, i think he was annoyed he couldnt pull me over for a reason so gave me a scare :cry: :lol:

no rear view mirror is not a good thing :lol:

i was fully expecting to be pulled over, reminds me of the fiesta days when it was weekly :lol:

yeah i have to be careful in the cossie now, as that wnot blend in as well as my fez did! :look:

and i drive like a snail in it everywhere, so they might pull me just because they want to :lol:

i did drive past a police car on monday and escaped getting pulled :thumbsup: luckily he didn't hear me chattering away up the road :halo:

Yeah it does stand out a bit!

my xr3i stands out as there is only one more round here and 2 S2 rs turbos and 2 s1s

and :lol: good old chatter (rules breaker :hsugh: )

luckily the old bill didnt see me do a spirited drive round some B roads prior to the high street :halo:

Usually if they follow you for a short time its while they check yout plates etc, look on the bright side, if your car gets nicked they may do it then.

I was followed by a T5 the other night down a B road, luckly id just left my Girlfriends so wasn't driving on boost as it hadn't warmed up, if i had been going the other way towards my Girlfriends, well that would have been a different story! :red: :lol:

Takes them literially seconds to check your plates, so was abit odd they were following you for so long, if it was traffic maybe they were bored .. and then suddenly got a call hence overtaking.
Dunno why everyones scared of coppers, they are just normal people, and unless your driving illegally why be bothered by them. Though i have to admit traffic have got to be the worst, some of the ones at work are utter w*nkers!!

and i know it does, and i really wasn't bothered. I think he was inconvienences (sp) me

What i meant was, he put them on so i pulled over, overtook me and turned them off :lol: and carried on normally

i wasn't scared or anything, i was debating the fact that my car was legal with my mate!

it made me laugh though when he overtook me like that :lol: i was like ooooh we have a comedian!

I know they are normal :) they helped out or tried to when i went to them about that egging incident. My only bad experiences were in the fiesta with traffic police :lol:

i got pulled over last week for going over a speed hump at an angle the traffic cop thought i was drunk lol i said my cars lowered :lol:
