I have edited title to "maybe" because it all depends on factors like.. wether mark gets a runaround, wether mark can be arsed to do the ZT, and wether I can be arsed to remove the TD
Although it will most likely happen in a few months.
Due to it being in a few months I will need the car to be reliable because of my new job meaning driving to different sites everyday or so...
So current things which I am doing tomorrow and tuesday..
Bolt starter motor back on properly as its rattled itself loose
New glowplugs as mornings are very hard to start and end up in alot of white smoke. Risking killing battery and risking me being late for work.
Fitting of bost gauge to see if the turbo is boosting to its standard psi, 12 or 15psi, need to check.
Once it arrives in the post, fit the boost controller to adjust the boost higher.
Adjust the fueling to match the boost.. will require me turning an allen key inside of the fuel pump for the "max fueling", but that is going to be awkward and will be a bumper off and radiator out job to make it much much easier!
I have been having an off week with the TD, being slow.. specially compared to driving the RS for the past year, but I have got to overlook this and see it as its gets me places, cheaper and faster than alot of cars if needs be
I am also fitting 13" black steelies tomorrow, due to a nail killing one of the 6 month old tyres on the white wheels.. so they are coming off completely till I decide what type of wheels I want on it. I am toying with wider steelies being made, or something oldskool which would look good in black.. as black wheels will suit the cars styling. But I would prefer alloys over steelies. Any ideas?? Show me some black wheels!
Also need to get my rear cover made... if I can be arsed.
Then that'll do it.
Other mods which may be getting done, MK5 dash and door cards.. once I can be bothered to gather the bits.
