Hello peeps.

Let me know your 2.0ltr zetec MPG (as most of you have them now...)

specially you derv gearbox using peeps.

And I am sure some of you have drove normal and not booted it all the time for a tank, so would like to know the best MPG you have got

i got up to 38mpg on motorway with my 2.0 derv not booting it.. :) - well, there were a few throttle tickles...

well im getting about 35mpg that's including foot down about 30 - 40% of the time.

as long as i keep it below 4000rpm it uses sod all...above that at speed it drinks it.lol

ive got a derv box as well...its fantastic on the motorway in fifth, picks up well without changing gear and i worked out about 46 - 48mpg on motorway. (worked out from filling up £15 @ 112.9 a litre and travelling 152 miles to my nan's house)

im stripped out tho. save weight = save fuel :lol:


oooo i forgot to add....if booting it none stop it drops drastically to about 25mpg :lol: and i mean foot to the floor 90% of the time.

The pickup seems to have less weight, as when I used the 60mm on the RS's rear end there was bearly any gap between wheel and arch. Pickup looks like its on 30mm rears with the 60mm springs :lol:

And it can be made arse end happy s I found specially at silverstone :lolz:

Matt I need something to be better than the RS due to having to drive around for my new job :P And diesel is annoying, so 2.0ltr.. but thats gonna end up racing manifold, stainless exhaust with rear box only, megasquirt eventually :rolleyes:

335 miles to a tank is the most i've had
that was mainly steady driving though.
usually see about 280-300 to a tank quite well though.

Lets hope it keeps going well.. normally in every fiesta I have owned, as soon as gravity gets hold of the needle, the last 2 thirds of a tank go much quicker :lol:

Still want 2.0ltr power tho.. I miss the bwaaarp pop pop of my exhaust
