Hi everyone,

I have just joined after alot of working out what to do and how to speak to you all. I am quite new to all this internet stuff! Hee hee

I owned my first Si over seven years ago and sold it due to my job. A few months ago after missing it sooooo much a located a tired, unloved 1.4 Si 3dr.
It is a little battered and bruised but with some welding and new tyres she got through the MoT. She also made it to the RS Owners day on Sunday and back (and sat in M1 traffic for 1 hour 30).

I loves Fords and love the Fiesta, especially my Si. I want to learn all about the car and do as much as of the restoration as I can myself.

It's great to find fellow Si lovers. I hope I can bring something to the conversations and I hope to learn alot from you all.

Hi,

Little Sister came around after I drove to RS Owners day the other week.

My friend and I were in the car on the M1 and two Sierra Cossies and a Escort van that had some right ponies under it's bonnet were on the M1 too! We managed to over take them, whoo hoo.

Once we pulled off the motorway we were going up to Donnington and all three left me stood, boo hoo. My friend shouted "Wait for your Little Sister". I thought it was a great name so I used it here.

In regards to my cars in between my Si's. I was extremely lucky and had a job working for a Ford dealer. I had companies cars, all Ford's, which was great as I had the pleasure of driving some amazing cars, Fiesta St, Mondeo TDCi, Mondeo ST, Focus ST, etc. I don't work there now so as soon as I could get some extra cash I had to get an Si.

I have always wanted to be able to spend time on Si and bring it back to it's former glory. I am currentley trying to tidy up the bodywork, which is a challenge. The engine needed some urgent attention and that's sorted for now. Just need to get her looking fine!

What projects have you got on or are your cars all done?

i did have a few bad teething issues with mine! mainly due to a cow boy mate that helped! but they have been all sorted out now!

while jam and i were doing becks 2.0 conversion, she drove my car and hated every moment of it :lolz: , yes it does put a smile on my face, especially when i'm sitting on the arse of an ST150 :thumbsup:

drop a frst engine into yours, easier :devil:

to be honest...cvh to zetec isnt a hard swap to do. just get a rotten 1.6 si..your 2.0 engine..rob all the bits you want..break the rest..and get some pennies back...just means you wont have the running hassles of an rst.
