Lots of Fiesta's but you can see i went wrong at the start and got better :lol:

Think the 1.25 was the worst cause of how much money and time i wasted on it!

Went to Oldham to get it, took 25 hours return trip because the transporter broke down!
Then alloys, replaced lots of bits as it was a damaged car when bought (only Â£240)
4-2-1 decat and catback piperX induction, then the head gasket went :thumbsup:

Still loved my Si's which is why i got 2! 8-)

1996 1.6 escort (should have kept the micra)
1998 1.7 puma eventually got a racing puma engine, loved it to bits, but uneconomic.
1998 1.4 polo
1998 1.6 106 Gti wish I got this to begin with, parts are cheap, easy to fix, good on petrol, and handles well.

Wanting a Ibiza fr tdi within the next two years, then will start saving for a house :frown:

thats a big mess!!

my dads had sum really nice cars, and then sum incredibly shocking 1s.

VW derby - yellow - was his 1st car
mk1 fiesta XR2 - white
mk2 fiesta XR2 - white
mk3 escort xr3i - blue
VW polo coupe thingy - red
mk3 escort xr3i - black, rs1600 front, rs alloys wooden interior trim - was lush, 1st car i drove lol wen i was 3!
then it all went downhill:
Rover 214Si - british racing green
Rover 214SLi - white -we still got it!
Vauxhall corsa 1.5 dti -black
Renault megane 1.9 dti sport - blue
Renault scenic 1.9 DCi - sum weird green colour - was the slowest thing in the world
VW Bora 1.9 TDI 115 - red

how the hell he went from an xr3i to a rover ill never knw!! but ill never let him 4 get the mistake he made!! lol

my mams cars:
vw jetta - pea green - the most disgusting colour you`ll ever see
vw golf 1.3 match - white - gti front end, gti wheels - was nice till we sold it to my neighbour wen he kept his pigeons in it!! :lol:

Renault clio 1.9d be bop - blue - constantly smelt of wet dog!! lol
renault clio 1.9d -green
VW polo 1.4 tdi - blue

and ive only ever had 1 car: Ford Fiesta 1.4 Si!! :halo:

and yea i di order sum lexus lights for it! :doh:

but they never turned up!! :thumbsup:

I had a Fiesta Si and i put a 2.0l in it! :red:

And now i drive a car that makes me look like a Drug dealer so my brother kindly informs me! :insanity:

i think the metro rio was a mistake as i fitted a hollowed out LDV exhaust and let the hydrogas out of the suspension then drove it around a wood until i rolled it into a tree, spent 2 week in hospital, was saved by a crappy rollbar made from scaffolding. not nice1

i like the type-r but is it a pratical choice? what with the extra insurance. Â£1700 for the civic and Â£1300 for the fiesta (which i think is a bit steep as i have been quoted Â£1300 for my si with a 2.0 and all mods declared.)

Yeah your quotes are high, I'd shop about more and if you go for the CTR maybe try an import specialist insurer. It's similar to my ITR quotes I had a couple of years back so I know the import factor makes a massive difference. It worked out cheaper to insure a Skyline GTR for me than an ITR :lol:

I'm a Honda lover and I've seen the abuse they can take. That Civic will keep going through thick and thin. The engine will be solid until the day the rest of the car dies. It's a proper drivers car. The Fiesta however - errr - I mainly see middle aged women driving them through Sainsburys car park :hsugh:

I'd get the Civic if for nothing else than the residuals!

can you recommend any good import specialist insurers? and i might get a integra type-r now, ive found a yellow JDM spec one with a few spoon goodies on its for a pretty good pice.
