Any shockers?

My confession is:

The Gull Winged Fiesta Si that had been converted from a 5 door with leather etc and yellow wheels, i was considering buying back in 2006 :red: :doh: :look:

I even looked at it :lol: :whistle:

Gladly i saw sense :)


Anyone else had similarily dodgy taste? :lol:

Been insured and drove on the road (dad's cars that i was insured on and allowed to drive)

the way forward clearly is our way Op :thumbsup: :halo:

The 306 DTurbo i had was actually a nice car, comfy, supprotive seats, good to drive, then i found out the exhaust was a bodge of a 1.4 :rolleyes: all the boost pipes started falling off, :lol: , the fans were snapped off :rolleyes: and to top it all, the headgasket went bang so i sold it for £285

I had a Daewoo Nexia saloon :lolz: simple as.

But now I wish I kept it as the 2.0ltr redtop vaux engine fits. Slap a turbo on it, proper sleeper!

306 gti-6 has been to date the most solid and reliable car i've ever had. then again all my cars have been solid and extrememly reliable. I'll be in shock if one of my cars doesn't start or actually breaks down in the future! :o

um, my first (well road legal car) was a fiat reggata 1.6 85 SUPER (basicly a big uno saloon):lol: :lol: was totaly mint but the engine was sooooooooo crap a 1.1 fiesta would give it a good race it had electric everythin, none of it worked :lol: :lol: :lol:

ooh i also had a pinky red austin maestro with the doors brush painted red, i left it in the dodgyest carpark with the keys in it, when i came back it was still there :x :lol: i wasnt happy.

a proton 1.3 (wayback before protons named there cars) was a proper shed but it was the sort of car i realy didnt care about i never washed it and never did any maintenance i realy abused it and it never once let me down, i was a little sad when no 1 would buy it so i had to scrap it :lol:

urm well i dunno ive had bad to good i spose...

had a vauxhaull nova 1.4sr
then went to a
renault clio 1.4 rt
to a range rover 3.5 v8
saw the light and bought a mk 3 1.3 shed of a fiesta :)
then a 1.6 turbo escort van
a dirt bike then
my 2.0 fiesta i had now :)

havent had any really bad cars, guess iv been lucky :)

1st car was a pug 106 xn, no luxeries what so ever... and the exhaust fell off from the cat back (i swear every 106 iv ever known has done that) lol

2nd car was my 1st Si... was my grandads from new FFSH etc etc i loved it untill a new (woman :doh: ) driver crashed into the side of me on a roundabout

3rd car is my current Si which most of you will know as oaskie's old one... its currently undergoing a big change :D

Finally my Si which I've had for about 4 years.

i confess to slapping 15" alloys, clear rear lights, angel eyes onto a bog standard 1.1 fiesta....
i had plans to fit a 5" slash cut exhaust too good job i got laughed at (by my brother, girlfriend and one of my mates) when it turned up...

then i grown up, no major hiccups since then, although had a few frowns on FT about my current wheel choice. I never went back :lolz:
