HIya

I have just bought a FLI sub for my boot, PINK OF COURSE :D

Does anyone know any spots on the si's I can thread the power lead through into the bonnet? Also I received a real thin blue lead with the sub, any ideas what this might be for???

All advice welcome :thumbsup:

I have routed my power cable through a small hole I drilled in the passenger footwell. I If you do this you must use a rubber grommet which sits in the hole with a hole in the grommet to allow the cable to pass through. Apply sme mastic after aswell to ensure a water tight fit.

The thin blue cable is a switch line which should be run down the same side of the car as of the red power lead. DO NOT RUN the speaker cable and power cables together this causes interferance.

i ran my power lead throught the same part as the ecu and then ran underneather carpet all way to the back

either power through the ecu hole on the passenger side. with the wires on the drivers side, or drill a new hole like above has said :)

blue wire is the remote wire :)

Right needless to say I cant find the ecu gromet???? I fitted the stereo today, sliced my thumb, broke my speaker cable lol lol........ Ran speaker cables along passenger side and leads from sub to stereo down drivers side, I am still havin trouble with the power cable to the battery, just cant see anywhere to put it through?? Do I have to move anything in bonnet to see this spot?????

Please help :(

open bonnet. look in the far top right under the scuttle panel and the windscreen. big ass rubber thing with wires going into it. ecu panel/grommet.

ecu gromit is on the passenger side of the engine bay, near the ford jack, its behind a metal plate that you need to move out the way to get to it

you cant miss it :thumbsup:
