Will be carrying on the project post with some pics of the tinted rear lenses later on. Not overly pleased with how they came out, the lacquer looks poo!

Here's the tinted rear lenses, not pleased with the outcome to be honest but they look "ok"

they dont look too bad, least it gives you a starting point and if you decide to redo them you'll know how to do it the way you want

they look good mate.....just sand back some of the lacquer with 1500+ grit wet paper and then use T-cut....then some polish and they should shine

tbh mate I'll look out for some RS accessory ones when I have abit more money. Theyre a lovely set of lights and I think they'd suit a white car well

Going to attack them lights tonight and see what I can do! Need to sort out what primer and paint I need to buy aswel! Got front and rear bumper, side skirts, wheel arches, rear spoiler and mirrors to paint

I think as the car is white you will need white primer....maybe plastic primer. The colour is obviously diamond white.....and then just need some clear lacquer. I would order it from Paints4U.com as halfords match is shit


Let me know if you need some help with the spraying. I've just done part of mine as when i took off the plate holder it left a deep mark and i wanted to put on my import plate:

Never sprayed anything before apart from those rear lenses, and look what happend to them

My older brother is supposed to be giving me a hand, but he runs his own business and lives 45mins drive away so I'm not sure when that will be. Looking to get this all done before I pass my test so will need to get a jog on. My step dad might be able to help too so with a bit of luck I'll be fine. Just need to crack on and get all the paint etc brought.

I'm abit worried about that myself, I think itll look fine painted, with the XR2i spoiler on and a subtle 3"/3.5" pipe out of the back. I dont want it looking like a boy racer car, at the same time no wayy and I only playing music through crappy standard front speakers
