evening everyone, im a new name to this club, i have purchesd a tidy little si in green with 80,000 miles on the clock for £500. it needs slight tidying but is in all round good nick. pick it up nxt thursday and cant wait. i hope i can get sum help and guidence from club members as i have a few plans for the car but not sure of restrictions, ie max wheel size, recomended lowering spings. etc etc.

wheels sizes depends on how silly you want to go :teehheee:

15"/16" wheels are the most commonly used sizes, you can go bigger(17"/18"/19"/20"), bigger isn't ways better :hsugh: :teehheee:

lowering is pretty much the same 30-40mm seems to be pretty much spot on, you can go for 60mm which looks the tits but might not be very pracitcal :cry:

thank you both. iv just finished refurbing a set of rs2000 split 5 spoke rims 15", which i have powder coated in sweet mirror black (as i work 4 a powder coating plant).was hoping to put 45 tyeres and wanted a 30mm drop.
should that run ok? no rubbing?

will look gorgeos i think.
