problem is i will be doing a hell of a lot of motorway driving(fuel paid for), and general long distance stuff, so i want the most comfy car i can get, and i love the si interior. thats why im thinking bigger engine than 1.0 as econmy really isnt a problem, but i think a si would suit it better.

sorry if that doesnt make much sense.

ok, been having a look, what differences are these to the si? same engine iirc, interior looks a bit more comfy but not much else difference is there?

The ghia has same gearbox as the si... its all the same. apart from seats and extra doors

the 1.7 puma engine fits in the 1.25 fiesta ;) but then again ive seen a chevy ls6 V8 dropped into an astra coupe.................goes off to ebay to look for an ls6

1.0 corsa aint the one to go for, i had one for a week while my 1.25 was gettin resprayed and it drank fuel like nothing else

Ghia and the Si are the same cost to insure. The only difference being the Ghia comes with factory alarm as well as immobilizer. The suspension is different. The ghia is much softer with only a single ARB, 13" thinner wheels and is as far from sporting as a Fiesta gets. If you want a cheap, nippy first car then I'd look elsewhere :lol: Fiestas aren't the cheapest to insure.

i had a vauxhaull nova....was cheap to insure out of all my mates cars and was the 1.4 luxe model so was rather quick too cuz i slapped a 1.6 head on it :)

bit chavtastic but i liked it
