A thankyou to everyone from here at newquay that offered support

Before I type this i'd like to say that phil is ok with the post and we agreed nothing would be said until this matter was sorted, which it now has been. I also want no fingers pointed at anyone as the incident was a general accident that could of happened to anyone in a similar situation

On the newquay holiday there was a little accident involving mine and phil's cars down to several circumstances, there was a lack of vision or manouverability on cornish roads and phil accidentally reversed and didn't see me, however both cars were driveable and both of us fine

My car is now in repair so the ST will not be at ford fair but im glad that its now all been sorted, and i have a si for ford fair lol!

Thanks to the others for keeping shtoom til it was sorted and to phil for being so good over the fracus. In a way i want to thank him because my courtesy car is a 200bhp golf gti turbo, and now i want a golf :doh:

ill post some pics up later of the damage and i look forward to ford fair and seeing you all again, i just hope phil can also get his car fixed too!

I hold no regrets and please dont blame phil, although he made a mistake anyone cud of made it, i nearly have before!

ouch......seems the Si was quite strong against your ST


Yours will need a new wing and bumper wont it :S And is phils getting sorted?


Anyway hope it gets sorted soon....maybe not too soon though so u can enjoy the golf :)

Like the C2 you crash at 30mph head on in that and its designed to crumple the engine! You crash in a Si and you'll need some T-cut and a brush to sweep up the Rust thats been knocked off! :hsugh: :)

Cant believe they gave you a Golf Gti as courtesy car, they useual give you some crappy hyundai! :lol:

Sorry to hear about this, although I do feel more for Phil as he's had all the bodywork done and now has to pay for more bodywork to be done. :doh:

At least it was only a light impact to both vehicles. We're only human, accidents happen.
