Hello
im sure a load of you on here have already done this but i was wanting to paint my drums and calipers as they were yellow when i brought the car but they arent now

i went in halfords and saw sum stuff "foila tech" or something like that
was around £28

is that how much the going rate is for that stuff
and what brands do you reccomend

any pics would be appreciated off yours

also ne suggestions on what colour i shoud go for?

hammerite does the job fine.

colour is totally up to you, though a bit of simple black or silver never goes amiss and is a general crowd pleaser for looking clean and standard. :)

i was gona paint mine black but throt it would look boring so i went all out for it and painted them yellow. nd i did let them dry 1st! im gona do them again wen i can be arsed nd leave them to dry 4 a lot longer.

as said by a few above i think the black (or silver in Phil's case) look the best

i used to have some of that foliatec stuff which was meant to be gold colour, after a couple of years it looked shite so black all the way for me

reminds me, need to touch mine up before Ford Fair

ive always painted mine black...even when i did my first rear disc conversion..because it looked black and standard...no one batted an eyelid :lol: altho its up to you but drums in lairy colours attract a bit too much of the wrong respect ;) :lol:


ive been toying with the idea of yellow brakes..but the hi specs are black and i think painting those would look a bit wank if im honest! so ill be staying with dull and boring black :D
