Right sorry about this fellas!

Temperature gauge spontenously going up and down - Faulty temparature sensor? Well yeah but even when the needle was showing cold the fan was still kicking in??? (does the car have 2 temp sensors - one for the dash and one for the fan?) I recently changed the thermostat because that was faulty but this happening a few days later seems too much of a coincidence!!! Also the needle wasn't showing fully cold just above the white block on the dash then suddnly it would shootup (never went too the fully cold mark)

I assume the temp sensor is the pointing upwards out of the thermostat housing correct or is it the sensor at the bottom?

Thanks

One temp sensor on top of thermostat and one under it (cant remember which one controls the dash clocks tho), fan is controlled with the temp sensor on the side of the raf ;)
