I picked this little beauty up for the missus fiesta si with the 2.0 zetec in the front of it still running the 1.6 box i think, it's lowered with Spax on a set of 16" Momo's, a S/S boxback, inside theres fiesta turbo seats but not the door panels the piping on the drivers seat is starting to rip as you can see the rest is standard, the body isn't to bad a few dents about but nothing major at all theres a set of the front si arch covers been fitted to the rear arches as well..















I pick it up on monday night with a knackered clutch it came with a new clutch kit ect. So tuesday after work i decided to take a look at it.. Half the gearbox to engine bolts where missing and the other half where loose and a gap of bit 8mm between the engine and box.
Whipped the box out cleaned it all up find the relese bearing had fallen apart and also the bearing locating pin on the operating shaft had snapped so i machined up a new one.. All back together witht he new clutch kit and working fine but i then realised the PAS rack has been remove and a standard one fitted.. :-?

Still not 100% if we'll be keeping the wheels on it yet but the tyres are legal so will do for now..
The kiddie we got the SI from was skint and it failed the MOT on the steering rack so he got a non PAS rack and coloum from a scrap fiesta..
The pump, bottle and everything else is still there so just needs the a pump pulley, PAS rack and coloum..
The silver 2i is mine it's got the rs1800 engine ect in it..

the wheels suit it pretty well

Like i said i bought this for the missus, but as she has no legs the Frst seats don't go forward enough so i've swapped them for my 2i seats, so the SI now has 2i wing back front seats, but it was the mk3.5 runner that are different and stop the seats moving forward so had to make some slight mod's to the runners so tis all sorted and the legless missus can now drive it... Once the log book turns up...

I moved it so i could fit the headunit and the clutch cable snapped so it's been replaced with a new genuine ford one, the pattern ones seem to be slightly shorter so i don't bother with them..

Well the log book has now turned up so she'll be TAXed on friday but i don't think we'll take it to Ford fair... Blagged a lift off a mate..

Cheers buddy yeah i'll pop on over and say hi and hopefully see you on the track.. I might be taking it to Ford fair now cos my mate is having water pump probs so if we don't sort then the SI will be come up..

I just drove it home from my workshop and yep i can say they go pretty well, it's been sat for about 6 months so didn't beat it to hard.. And the missus is happy so i'm happy..
