lowering a car lowers the center of gravity so yes it will help handling and stiffershocks mean less body roll so again will better the hendling BUT dont just slap them on and go for a drive because it might possibly be worse get the tracking re-done as that will be vastly effected

35mm is a safe drop without many major problems make sure your on 45 profile tyres if your on 15's, to minimise chance on any scrubbage
