finally got myself sorted and bought one.its done 80k,3 lady owners,original ford mats and strereo and no sillyness what so ever.the last lady was slightly younger and had her hubby buy the wheels it has which arnt to my taste but hey.

Looks very tidy. I've got original mats in mine, very cool. Mk4 wiper is a bonus too.

I'm just gonna say the usual really, clear or smoked side reps. and suspension drop.

Wheels are alright, but maybe change to something a little more special.

cheers peeps.its an exhaust tip which a little gay but sutible. im planning on lowering it about 30mm and go for some ford rims.maybe mondeo 16's?

apart from that it will be treated to a 3 inch rolled out pipe and a damn good clean and polish.id like to get smoked side repeaters and the rear clusters with the orange indicator removed so its just red and clear.

its never gonna be anything ott but it will just have a few tastefull mods as i use it as a daily driver and im a dad!

its very clean and looks like its been looked after as the belts look new and it has fresh oil too.
for what i paid for it im pretty chuffed

well id love an xr2 again not a turbo though lol

i thought the si should be reliable if i dont abuse it and its fairly plush (leccy windows,central locking,power streering)
also i didnt have alot of money to play with as the 306 wasnt worth alot and i couldnt put anymore to it (mortgage,baby and wife!) you'll understand. a clean xr2 are getting hard to find and when you have less than a grand to throw at a daily driver with a bit of character you choices are limited.

the plan is to have a smally toy/project later in life when my lad is a little older and when we are bit better off. an xr2 will deffinatly be a consideration
