ok...anyone got the answer.....my mate is buying my oil catch can and im gonna replace it with a breather filter when i get stainless induction piping.....so whats the pro's and con's of each?

a bit depends on how worn your engine is and subsequently how heavy it breath's if a good engine without to much oil carry over can get away with just a breather filter Ive fitted mine vertically so any excess oil drains back, if engine breath's heavy or use for motorsport then a catch tank required.

its only really used for on the road and no i don't think it breathes any tbh really....the catch tank is empty lol

Being tight :lolz: , i brought a second hand strut brace for a MK3 XR2i of ebay for £20 and modified it to fit by cutting it, sleeving and rewelding so it missed the zetec inlet manifold as you can see in the top left of the picture.
this was a cheaper and better i thought than the Alloy item which they sell at £99!
