ha well it dont look like that anymore!!!! bonnets off, its covered in dust sheets and the rad, inlet manifold, induction, battery and have the engine wiring loom are spread out around the garage!!!

no i cant be arsed! i think it was my imagination or something cause i got back home cleaned it, had it under loads of different lights and its gone!

***Just incase no 1 has a clue what me n summer r talking about, at FITP i thought i could see the swage line on the bonnet showing through, but its actually just my paranoia!***

i would honestly get some pictures if i had a digital camera! i had to give the other one back, im getting one in 2weeks for my birthday but i dont know if i can stop myself from pulling the engine out in that time lol! i told my mates i wouldnt do anymore until i had piccies, but then i went outside and stripped the inlet manifold off it!

nice wheeeels, nice motor

not seen it summer will have alooksie!

anyway onto the important bit! an update if you want to see my full write up then go to here:

2.0 Engine in bits:

whilst i didnt have a camera i took off this:

and this is how i left it when i went out:



so basically ive taken the inlet side of things off along with the exhaust side, disconnected a lot off plugs, taken the themostat and distributor off and drained all the engine coolant.

i have also fitted the ecu, rebuilt the 2.0 throttlebody using 1.6 parts, fitted the 2.0 fuel injectors to the rail and fitted the 2.0 maf to the cone

i will carry on next week cause im not gonna be at home for a week now

i have also purchased a rear disc conversion:



along with xr4x4 callipers for the conversion:


(bought a full set so im selling the fronts on ebay later)

and cossie front discs:



(they a FCUKIN huge! )

well i built the engine crane and let me tell you 5 easy steps it is not!!!


right well i finally got the engine out!






i got the gearbox bolts out and both the engine mounts with only a little trouble from one bolt!


and then finally




but disaster in my heavyhandedness i popped the cv joint!

with my lack of knowledge about cars can't say i know what a cv joint is!

but am i right in thinking that its not good

no its not good lol! its what powers the wheels from the gearbox/engine! i fixed it though now, all i did was jack up the gearbox on the far right hand side and it poped into place well easy!

i have also painted my engine bay in matt black, ive done the front panel and one side piece ive got the bottom of the slam panel, inside the bay and the other side to do.

i have also ordered a sports manifold and sports cams and im taking my block and crank to be acid dipped to get them all nice and new!!!
