Anyway danny boy......i think a nice greddy oil catch can would suit your engine bay.....not that i remember seeing any pics of your engine bay :s

would look nice in the engine bay, i wud use it instead of the oil breather then, but like i sed im skint atm nd plus i got more important things to spend money on, e.g exhaust lowering springs bodywork etc.

anyway wat do people think of the smoked lights?

Cheers jase! n my dad loves them!! nd i do, so comfy and u dont move in them.

havent got any quotes for the back seats yet, mite retrim them myself, then get sum grey doorcards from a lower trim model.

nd i was gona tint them a bit more, but i left them at that, i can always tint them more sum other time, nd deffo gona laquer them thou, they will look a lot better then.

if you lacquer you won't be able to retint later though :S

my indicators had about 3-4 strong coats of tint on and it shines though ok:

looking good, im gona laquer them sumtime soon.
wa u guys think of my mates zetec-s, he bought it yesterday. got 17" fox evo 3s prospeed exhaust and a cone filter, its a nippy little thing and sticks like glue, i think hes gona register on the zsoc sumtime but he wants to know what people think of it 1st.

and 1 of mine and my mates saxo, showing my tinted rears from far away.

o well my mates ZS is dead now.well half dead at least

we checked the oil in it the other day after he had the car.nd it was just under the max.

a few days later, the oil light started cumin on and yesterday it started knocking, checked the oil nd it was empty, nd the coolant level had dropped a lot.

put sum new oil in it, got it home and it was still knocking.

a guy he knows had a listen to it this morning, nd apparently the zetec engines strainer on the oil pickup tube gets blocked causing the crankshaft and the big end bearings to starve of oil, so the guy thinks the big end bearings have gone.

but his uncle had a listen to it this morning aswell and he thinks the engine need a good flush out and proper synthetic oil put in it and he thinks the knocking noise is where the camshafts and the other parts in the cylinder head have no oil, probs coz of the pickup tube being blocked.

i think we r gonna, flush the engine, put fresh fully synthetic oil in, nd then see if its still knocking, if it is then its probs the big end bearings.

but wats baffled me is the fact that all the oil was gone, in a matter of about 3 days, without any leaks anywhere, wat i think is the valve stem oil seals are gone, so its burnt all the oil.

anyone else knw anything?? if the engines gone i think hes gona get a 1.7 puma lump 2 go in it.
