i had a starlet gt in black before i got my celica and can say that it was great on petrol if you didn't rev it like made and took it easy.. i would say 30mpg easy.. it was about as quick as my stripped 2.0ltr si.. but i talk to the guy who bought it off me regurlarly on msn and he has now raised the boost to 1.0bar as they are 0.65 standard and he has had it dynoed at 171bhp and 130 lb ft.. they do rev very well all the way to 7krpm and are more of a car for having fun through twisty tight corners than outright power.. which is why i sold it and bought the celica really.. was gonna go for a supra tt but didnt like the idea of rwd and the rubish uk roads
