teething problems for the new ashley system!

it was blowing where the manifold meets the centre section, so i took it down to rob who sorted it and realigned it, but now the gear linkage must be to close as the gearstick moves loads on idle and you can feel it through the stick, but as soon as you rev it its ok, so changing gear is fun :rolleyes:

looks like it will have to be redone again!

why can't things be simple :cry:

ive just fitted a Ashley manifold on a 2litre Si and it was a night mare, was going to post a 'Guide' on the problems i encountered.
Hope you get it sorted ok.

i wouldnt put an Ashley manifold on my car, they tend to crack, if you put exhaust wrap on them.

Also dont really like the end of the manifold, where it goes from 2- 1

They crack because Ashley only use mild steel.

Its to do with the sound rather than the longativity.
