not being one to urinate on the bonfire here..they wont fit an st..someone i know has one..and trial fitted them...and they stick out way past the body line. theres loads of room behind the wheel but the st has an offset of 52 or 53..iirc and a cossie wheels is 25...you can have them machined but thats more money and the only thing they are right for is an st then

i shouldn't really go off topic but what would happen as long as u swapped wheels for MOT? I doubt any coppers would know?


so if u stick the XR/RS skirts and arches on an Si.....are you allowed to have them sticking out further since the bodyline is widened?

You can get 3 points per wheel if they want to do you for it...

If you have xr/rs arches you can have them wider, but not so they stick out of the bodykit :)

eg. I cannot have my front wheels sticking out any further on my RS as its illegal

i saw some on an ST oop north somewhere with stretched rubber on them, looked great but rubbed under full lock, didnt seem to stick out toooo far with the stretched rubber

Theres one on the STOC with cossie wheels, unfortunately its one of those ones you have to register to :|, he had fairly excessively stretched tyres as well :rolleyes:

Stetching when done properly is fine.

On the continent, some of the Lotus boys stick the rears on the front, (because the LC has wider rears than fronts, I wonder why :insanity:) and mod the fronts to be wider still, then stick them on the rear.

Even with the Carltons wide-boy kit, they have to stretch them pretty mega to get them in.

See the "Dish" thread in Ebay links. They're going to a guy in the highlands whos gunna be stretching them to fit his "from the ground up" rebuilt Monza.

All considered the above pictured is bloody stupid and way to much IMO
