He wants a tax rise of upto £200 on older cars!

And introduce tax on whether u have brought your car since 2001!

i dont use my car as much now as i ride my bmx to work but i think he is bang out of order

the conservatives think that if Brown goes ahead with it, then he will lose being PM.

I know who i won't be voting for at the next general election if he is man enough to call one!

id rather cut my tongue out than drive a toyota penis. i love the way these people say,you should go green,its better for the planet bla blah bla but these people are normally rather well off and can afford to. i cant afford a nice spanky car or one much more than a grand and i dont see why i should go on finance just to please tree huggers.

do you see countrys like india etc going green noooooooooooooooope imo the government should stop hounding us to look after the planet when its contributing to a massive carbon footprint by our army being in iraq.they cry about our landrovers being bad for the environment well they should take a look at what a 500bhp turbo diesel warrior tank chucks out!

what is the point of going to work to pay bills??

i really dont think that car emissions are doing the damage they say. cars are alot more efficient now than they have ever been. how about these power plants that throw out shit loads of rubbish?
i just think they say its down to car emissions to get some easy money

if they want everyone to own spanking new 'green cars' they should fooking pay for em or make them cheaper to buy and run.

just done an A level physics investigation into the whole global warming thing :squint:

Long and short of it was that yes our "emissions" are undoubtedly contributing to global warming but what is touted about by the press is a load of balls, and most of the new "green" legislation is financial bs as well.

For instance wind power. Hell will freeze over before they can build enough wind turbines to power the uk theyre just so inefficient unlike nuclear power which is brilliant emissions wise, we just need to sort out the whole waste issue.
