I was getting it ready for sale anyway, and jumping straight to the next car that I wanted, but 10 weeks of road works next month means we have to park 2 mins around the corner (nasty) and I don't want to see the GTi-6 being vandalised on a bigger scale as I've replaced my 2nd wing mirror today thanks to someone yet again smashing it - And that's right outside my house.

A runaround that's easy and cheap to repair is needed which I won't care about if it gets cracked windows, slashed tyres, scratched up bodywork etc etc until they finish my road.

I hate this place.

106 GTI for half the price lol.
Nah only joking, these are much more comfortable, the car does look very nice too. These do handle rather well too, plenty of grip on turn in, and steering feels nicely weighted.

i do really like these....well i think i liked the phase1 that was in work for a nit(well it was nice till it was crashed lol), a guy brought a 106 GTi in recently aswell...it was slammed on some 206 alloys so the tyre was in the arch lol....looked mint....think i got a pic, i'll see if i can find it

Wait and see. I've paid 20 quids to put it on auto trader for 2 weeks so fingers crossed it means a sale. On a side not i think i may merge my old mk4 thread with this one once it's sold reading through people thought I may be getting an ST170 back then! not many guessed it would be a GTi-6 at the time.

Just merged my old mk4 thread with the GTi-6 one, but I seemed to have lost the first 6 months of my Mk4 thread, Doh! nevermind.

I'll update with my 106 tonight if I manage to get some pictures of it! (much to haters dislike )

It may be 14 years old but it's not too bad for a little runaround. Great character to it!
