Well i posted this once, but was lost when the surver died so ill repost it.
Fitted the Low comp engine over the bank Holiday weekend with the help of Ben (Jam) whom i would like to give a big thanks to.
We couldn't do anything on saturday as i was on a Rally experience day.
Sunday we started Bright and early at 8am, we worked till 3am!!! We had got what we wanted to do done, engine out and new one in place. We did have a couple hours off for a BBQ!
Monday, another early start 8.30, we plumbed everything up today, had to do some fabrication and alteration to get things to fit etc, we called it a day at midnight, we had cranked it over to check we had oil pressure but didn't start the car due to the time.
Tuesday, well i was Ill on Tuesday

(cheers Mum) 9am start, 1st job was to start her up, 1st time!

So we popped to the post office to collect the boost pipes (not in the Rallye as there where bits still unattached), when we came back we noticed a puddle off oil, turned out to be a Crank seal not sealing, so we had to take off the timing belt and aux belt, sort the seal and re-time, but then to make things worse one of the banjo bolts snapped!

And we couldn't source one locally so had to get from elsewhere, but because of this we had to get a smaller Aux belt so it would go from the Crank straight to the Alternator till the bolt arrives!
Runs abit funky, as you would expect on standard map, on a low comp Engine, although there's some bits i want French Sport Tuning to look at, but unfortunatly because of this it wont be ready for FCS, but i've decided to pull the Rallye off the Road and get a daily Driver (more to come on this soon) but im going full Hog on it Dog box, carbon bonnet the works!
Anyway less chat and more pictures!

Gave the bay a litlle clean while it was out, nothing major, just a quick wash to get rid of the shite

465 miles to go!
Just like to thank Ben (jam) for coming up and giving me a hand, Daz (scoobyDaz) for lending me the crane and My mum for ringing in sick for me on tuesday!
