nah m8 i just emailed racelien for the spec so as soon a i recieve it ill let ya know cheers but they do sound like ralleye cams to me

setup m8 jay at xfactor motorsport did the conversion, then when i had a new timing belt fitted the cams were setup for top endthey came as a package with the cylinder head which was upgraded to bigger inlet valves the head was also ported and polished and some other stuff was done, they come in hard a 4k all the way up to the redline

i can understand lumpy idle on lairy cams, but not that sort of noise from the exhaust

If you have big cams, idle wont always be smooth.

but the hollow poppy noise from the exhaust is the only thing that seems alittle odd.

that is of course if it has anything to do with the cams at all

the exhaust is blowing thats due to the gearbox mounts which are tottaly knackered due to the power which im having sorted today, but do you think there could be another problem boost

Im not saying there is a problem. as always it may sound different to the ear.

the last time i heard noise like that from the exhaust the timing was out quite a way and it didnt run properly. but as you say it runs fine so shouldnt be that.


if it runs fine i wouldnt realy worry.
