morning people thanks for the comments , poped in to work to day as iv been off for a week and my FSI stickers had turned up, so come home and set about fittin them with me one eye lol , they dont look to bad so heres some picks

where did you get the ford badge from on your boot? did you get it direct from ford?if so how much were they?as when i asked for one i got given the old one! and they are fading again

tbh i couldnt tell you , i got it out a box at work , prob loads more in there ( i work in a body shop) just badges that never get put on cars , but cant see ford not having them ? think they are the 99 on ones ! i have the same on my bonnit as well ,

if you havnt found one by time im back to work tusday ill have a dig see what i can find

well people back from blackpool, did around 600 miles this weekend in the fez with no brake down cover lol , and it was fine , had to put bit of oil in but then i havnt checked it since i did the oil change about 2/3k ago on the new engine it was just above min so put a ltr in it got a cople of picks some were will dig them out and post them up

right people as its my bday and im back from blackpool and not workin i thought id sort some picks out

heres my turbo mock up engine all bit and check



nothing fancy , 2.0 rebuilt , new rings bearing , decomp plate , custom breather , stage 3 t3 cosworth turbo , escort turbo down pipe, drilled and tapped head with polished ports , std size valves just re-lapped rs1800 inlet, modded injecter plate to take frst injecters, black top zetec fuel rail , or maby festa turbo if i can find one lol
(note 1.6 inlet on there for mock up , rs1800 one is at work painted white with st orange bits and i havnt been back for to weeks lol )

and a radom pick of me engine swap



agen not the engine in there now thats the one that is now the turbo one lol

yeah mate iv done megasquirt before just seems to much hasel , cossie managemnt is old skool, dizzy and everything lol, altho many upgrades out there, im gonna go with fiesta turbo OFAB as it should be fine , if i ever get ound to makin a proper one it will go autronic and be mapped at MADevelepments

I would have thought megasquirt would have been easier as you need to get the OFAB mapped properly anyway

you have to have anything mapped proply, i would be gettin it live mapped anyways , so wethers it ofab mega squirt or omex it will still havin live map, i can run the zt with out it mapping it to start with , think its about £500 for a live map

thanks mate not sure when im gonna to fit the engine im in the middle of thinkin about changine jobs wat could swing this eather way , if i do i will need anothe car to go to work and back as its down a muddly lane, if i stay at my place im not sure the money will be there to drive the thing as im only on £3.50 and hr but have been offerd £7 to go to the other place ahh so confussed lol

SHE RE-BUILT :D:D:D not long off now just need oil and coolent , to new tyers manifold and im away , no more raggin it every day tho i think , ill get piccys up will have to use the comp not the lap top tho , should have them up tonite! sadly not turbo still but i will now start gettin the parts i wanted , but im skint fucking cars lol
