i have been told by quite a few people hollow out ur cat it free's up power and sound cool can i just say it sounds CRAP i now really regret it has any oneelse done this and does it sound as bad

Decats do change the sound of your exhaust in my experiance, which some prefer and some do not.

Though I'm unsure of how a hollowed out cat would sound. It sounds like a DIY bodge job (i've seen it mentioned elsewhere on the forum too) so I'd expect it to sound like one in all honesty.

Would you say the exhaust doesn't sound as deep and it's more raspy?

ye i did this frees up power but sounds like i have a hole in my zorst lol but needed it done quick as my cat was nakered any one know where to get a cheaper decat instead of from mongoose etc or has anyone made a pipe from downpipes to mid section that sounds good ???

it only sounds crap as it is hitting the part of the cat that is deeper so the noise is ricoshaying out if ya get me lol :) :lol: :lol: paul
