A Family Friend owns a farm and its Lambing season so they invited my mum, Julia (GF) and myself round, so we went yesterday!

Was real fun, we went just to look, but eneded up helping and staying intill about 8!

3 lambs sleeping on each other to keep warm!

My Mum getting rather close to one ewe, after a bit of a struggle, the ewe ended up having 3 healthy Lambs!

Didn't take anymore pics of the sheep/lambs after this beacuse had to help and get my hands dirty etc! Been invited next year to come back and help, i think ill take some wellys and clothes that i don't mind getting covered in sheep stuff! :lol:

Went in the barn and was clear and sunny then when we came out it was snowing really heavy!

i wouldnt do whatever your mam did with that hand though. i draw the line at animals genitals. pregnant or not its too freaky.

still, really cute, you just wanna squeeze 'em. shame really, when sheep get older they are right mingers with thier sh1tty tails and evil eyes.

Yeah, i didn't shove my hand in like my mum, she had it up to here elbow at one point, i just help pull them out! :lol:

Big sheep just look ugly, even slightly scary, Richard (the Farmer) went out the Barn to get some feed, the sheep just all stood and stared at us, not even making a noise, was freaky! :squint:

In 3 months time them Lambs will look nothing like that, be big fat and ugly! :cry:

looks like you had fun matt, dont let beck see this pot tho!

we went to a sheep place about a week ago, they had lamb not even a few hrs old there, wanted to feed one, but would of got savaged by little kids in the queue! :lol:

Well i helped feed a Lamb that i had just help deliver 5 mins before, you have to shove your finger in its mouth and let it suck your finger while you feed the milk into the side of the mouth!

I named it trevor! :insanity:

Nooooooo, the pays crap and you get covered in crap! :squint:

The main thing that i learned was, that when you have Lamb on your sunday roast, it doesn't look like

It is in fact a fully grown sheep and can be classed as lamb up to 2 years old, which i never knew!

Hmm I was eating a bacon and egg sandwich last night, And thought - Man, this was a pig that was once as cute as Babe, and i'm also chomping on a baby chick that came from a birds ass.

I continued chomping away but it does make you think - humans don't need to kill animals these days to survive... Still circle of life/food chain and all that.

Not something i'd ever choose to do...To dirty and smelly :xmasghey:

On the subject of foodstuffs we sell chicken wings at work, one portion is 6 wings, since each chicken has two wings it folows one order is worth 3 chickens!! Seems alot for one person :shock:

Puts things into perspective really.

still they taste good enough :lol:
