no this is going to be a minter! keeping it as nice as i can! i got it off ebay for £400 with the mot just done! just t-cutted the front end made a massive differnce ill add photos later! i might keep it without the stripes atm! i like the all black look!

Enjoy the lack of PAS A quick blast in Scott's 2i was enough. Having said that when i went around (literally in a circle) the tk maxx car park in Sy's RST I lolz'd. Nasty heavy steering, coupled with a nasty steering wheel so it could be worse!

its begging for an rst conversion with 1.4 Si PAS system

tiz nice. saw that on ebay. whats the petrol cap like? cloth or vinyl door cards?

i much prefer it without the PAS. except for parking.


my crappy advice:

ensure you change the oil every 5k
if the oil cap lifts up whilst driving change the breather pot.
only buy ford rocker cover gaskets. others fail very quickly.
window switches in the centre console? if the leccy windows stop working its usually those.
fit a "lights on" warning buzzer. these cars dont have 'em, saves a flat battery.
fit the window guide from an si or later fez into the side nearest to the door lock -later cars have a metal cover that is intergrated into the guide which makes it harder to break into should someone attack the lock area.

Does Fiesta PAS even count as PAS? Not sure if both my Si's have been worn out or anything, but i find for power steering it's still quite heavy. I quite like it though, as it's not totally numb like some cars but does help when parking.

I'd do as OP says with regards to the lock shield things, when i took the locks off my 5 door Si rep, i was amazed at how vulnerable to break in it was. That was just a 1.1 though, shocked their missing from an XR2i!

just bourght some barginious tiger rs1800 mk3.5 seats, rare as fook! for £40 full set, seats, door cards and rear seats! it looks the nuts and has made the seat height alot lower as well as the standarse ones i was nearly scrapping my head on the roof, im only 5.10 aswell ill take pics 2moz!
