i dont think ill be coming to FITP this year now..

my head gaskit has gone on my car and i dont think i can get it fixed in time, never mind looking for the money to get it fixed.. i am sooooo pissed rite now!! :( :x

what else is going to go wrong now.. am surprised it aint blown up yet.. damn it!!!

i might aswell get a new car or a new engine.. what do u guys think is best??!!

Sorry to hear that Emma. You'll have to see what price you get with fixing it, or break it and sell it on here, and get a new car.

Personally I'd get a new car, but depends if you can afford or not.

Im going to guess you wont be doing the work yourself as its not a hard job on the zetec, you'll be able to get a Headset for about £50 from your local motorfactors! + head skimming which is about £25

Looking at about 2-3hours for a garage to do! so could be around £200+ for them to do it!

if its a 1.6 i would say 2.0 time as for the cost of what a garage would charge u for a head gasket u looking at farm ore than £200 cheapest i was quoted b4 was £500 and u could get a 2.0 fro ma scrappie or ebay for about £150 and prb get it fitted by a garage for cheap thats what i would do
