So then, http://www.pumaracing.co.uk <- that's one of my favourite links to click on the net when I'm at work and bored, and the one of the best places that I've ever gained knowledge about cars from. How they work, general info and what can be done, and more importantly it's knowledge that I feel I can trust in a world full of crap IMO.

I clicked on a part of the site I've never looked at before, and I thought it was hilarious. Reading this though, I still feel like I fall mostly into customer types 1 and 2. :lol:

Apart from the bullshitting part, as I'm aware that I know not that much regarding engines in general (though I'm always trying to get things to stick in my thick skull).

Ever since i first gleaned over the site when I found it about a year ago, I've always just wanted to copy and paste countless paragraphs into FSi's core!

I'm not actually sure where I'm going with this topic really, but thought people might like a laugh at the customer.htm link, much like I did...

Agree with the "shoot them" comment :lol:

You get those catagories in every profession and walk of life though.

There is no substitue for experience. However, with so many cowboys out there, I can understand some peoples aprihension

ps. argueing with group 2's brings the biggest smile to my face......like argueing with a 5 year old.......they know their right, you can just be smug as a result :lol:

i think im edging into type 2 territory. ive never built an engine but if someone was to do it for me i would ask the same questions of reliability, consumption, what parts, servicing, torque gains, power gains, would this be cheaper than?.... etc etc. maybe now if i went to buy an engine i'd just play dumb and claim i no nothing at all about cars and just want it to go faster. :lol:
