i've got my M.O.T coming up soon and i know my brake discs are shot and need to replace them pre-MOT.
Like most of you though, when something needed replacing i prefer to upgrade if possible-
there are a couple of strict conditions though-

They must be cheap

I don't have much money to spend as i've just bought a suit for interviews which cost me a fortune :shock:

Easy to Fit

i haven't got hardly any time free before the M.O.T so it must be a quick/hassle free modification...

I've been wondering about the RS2000 brake discs, but at the moment i am only after the discs (and pads). Would this work using my standard calipers?
also, i have looked for calipers, but non are available at a good price for me at the moment and obviously i haven't got much time to wait for them....
so yeah, any suggestions on a bolt-on brake disc upgrade?

Discs are no where near as important as pads dude, keep what you have as standard as it's fine.

How much are mintex for yours?

Edit: just read it all and you do want to upgrade.

hang on i'll find a good link for you to read before buying anything.

If you want some RS2000 discs I have some, part worn mind. They are grooved and I dont want much for them. Just thought if you need summit quick to get thro MOT. See them here.

Wow that is alot of info on bedding brakes in etc., think removing the caliper on the fiesta is slightly easier though.
i dont think i'd need to remove any brake lines/hoses to swap the discs would i?

no, just tie the calipers up when you take them off to avoid putting strain on the hoses
