Not helped by the leaking in of water for 2 years,

the rs2000 i am breaking, has a good hole in the floor, it collapsed on me! :shock:

Theres now a 10 inch split from sill to floor on the passneger side! :lol:

Safe to say its best days are long gone! :cry:

Also rust by in the door frame, by windscreen, rear arches, rear valance, chassis, etc etc! :rolleyes:

(someone wanted the shell on ebay! maybe not now!)

I have a pic, just no memory card to transfer it to pc so will sort that later!

well i was crouching on the floor removing the interior loom, and the floor started breaking and i nearly went with it :lol:

I've seen rusty fords but this one is the biscuit i will get pics up!

The XR2i we were stripping for parts a month ago was bad, I fell through the floor properly.

And when I pulled the skirt kit off the rear, the rear 1/4 panel came with it :lol:

My mate has just bought a RS1800 Fiesta for a track car, and Ive just spent the past 2 days welding the floor and fitting the roll cage. At first glance it looked not too bad, but once the grinder got involved it highlighted all the bad bits, but in essence its a good car , so worth welding to strenghthen it up again

Its now looking much much better and now that we have sealed it all up and painted the floor its lookin good

Old Fords , you cannae beat em :lol: :lol: :lol:

my fiesta is 18 and has perfect sills and floor, odd patch but nothing major. never been welded!

very much depends on how its been maintained methinks.

once u get it through an mot underseal it, i done that to my mk2 and got it through the next years mot, keep them clean tho that also helps :)
